Metal Hose Slotted End
Slotted ends are designed to attach to Metal Hose and fit over mating fitting. This allows clamping of Slotted End to attach to a metal hose assembly. Typically slotted ends are applied to exhaust and other nominal pressure applications. Slotted ends are light weight and ready to weld out of the box. Our slotted ends are suitable for high temperature metal hose applications due to stainless construction.
AMFM Incorporated manufactures and stocks standard Slotted Ends sizes and configurations. Our manufacturing is flexible, we are able to offer a variety of options to customize slotted ends. Slotted ends are manufactured to a + 1/16" ID tolerance to allow for a slip over fit. AMFM is able to customize part length, ID, slot spacing and depth.
Non-standard Configurations
AMFM can review your needs to help you determine if a standard or non-standard slotted end is best for you. When contacting AMFM it is best to have determined the following information.
- Determine Size for OD/ID fit required
- Designate Slots for required ID reduction
- Specify Length for application
